Hamilton East Public Library Author Fair
Award-winning Indiana author Meg Hamand, writer of the acclaimed historical novel Diamonds in Auschwitz, will appear in person at the 2026 Local Author Fair hosted by the Hamilton East Public Library (HEPL) on April 19, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Readers will have the opportunity to meet Meg Hamand face-to-face, purchase signed copies of Diamonds in Auschwitz, and learn more about the inspiration and research behind her powerful World War II historical novel.
Hamand’s appearance at the HEPL Local Author Fair provides a unique opportunity to connect directly with the author and discuss her writing journey.
Starke County Library's Beyond the Book Festival
Join Meg Hamand for a book signing of Diamonds in Auschwitz on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CST at the Henry F. Schricker Library in Knox, IN.
The one-day Beyond the Book Festival, hosted by Starke County Public Library, features over 40 authors who meet the public, sell and sign books, and often give panels, Q&As, or presentations. Local vendors will also be there. The library will stock featured authors’ books ahead of the festival so readers can browse beforehand.
